Sleep tracking

A sleep tracker that changes your evenings, not just your mornings.

Sixteen scores every night against your own need, spots naps and late nights, and locks the apps that push bedtime back. Works with the Apple Watch or WHOOP strap you already wear.

Sixteen sleep screen showing a 59% sleep score with hours versus need, consistency, efficiency and sleep stress rows

Sleep like you mean it.

Your sleep score is hours against your need, consistency, efficiency and stress, in one number you can act on before bed.

Hours versus need

Sixteen works out how much sleep you need tonight from your baseline, your recent debt and the strain you carried today, then scores how much of it you got.

Consistency and efficiency

Bedtime drift and time awake in bed both drag the score. You see which one moved and by how much.

Sleep stress

Heart rate and HRV through the night show when your body was working instead of resting. Late meals, alcohol and late scrolling show up here first.

Naps and split nights

A 40 minute nap counts. A night broken in two is stitched back together. Settled nights are never overwritten by a provisional one.

Then it changes the day

Measured is not the same as changed.

Set a sleep schedule and Sixteen guards it. Distracting apps lock at your wind down time and stay locked until morning. The next day starts with a score, not with Instagram.

How earning screen time works

Questions people ask

Which devices does Sixteen use for sleep?
Apple Watch through Apple Health, and WHOOP straps directly over Bluetooth. Any other wearable that writes sleep to Apple Health, such as an Oura ring or a Garmin watch through their own apps, works the same way.
Does Sixteen show sleep stages?
Sixteen uses the stages your device provides. Apple Watch writes core, deep and REM to Apple Health. The score itself is built on duration, consistency, efficiency and overnight stress, because those are the parts you can change.
Can Sixteen detect sleep apnoea?
No. Sixteen is not a medical device and does not screen for or diagnose any sleep disorder. If you snore heavily or wake gasping, talk to a doctor.
Is there a subscription for sleep tracking?
No wearable membership is needed. Sixteen itself is $99 once for lifetime access or $19.99 a month.
